Lone Wolf Squadron maneuvers slowly in space till the gate
comes alive and then they form a wedge with one ship hanging
back.
INT. REARMOST SHIP - SIMULTANEOUS
BEN K. LEVA a thinner version of Mikeale with long dirty
blonde hair tightly braided, talks into his communications
equipment He speaks with a heavy middle-eastern accent.
BEN (ON COMM)
Prepare to fire on my command.
EXT. SPACE NEAR JUMPGATE 7 (FENRUS)
LOBO (ON COMM)
At what target, sir?
BEN (ON COMM)
The evil terrorist/smuggler/pirate
ship that is bringing cobalt bomb
which I have been informed can
split our beloved Geode into small
pebbles.
A small ship resembling a cut crystal perfume bottle emerges
from the gate. All the decks are transparent.
SHIP'S CAPTAIN (ON COMM)
This is the captain of the NOSEGAY
out of Nikkeldepain. Do we need an
escort? Is piracy active again?
BEN (ON COMM)
You will not be fooling us today,
evil ones. Open fire.
RENE (ON COMM)
Mon capitaine? I think you have
been misinformed. Anyone can see...
A beam of light shoots out from Ben's ship and Rene's ship
explodes in a bright flash.
BEN (ON COMM)
Any more traitors in our midst?
Open fire.
Laser beams start to shoot out from the starfighters and
abruptly wink out.
LOBO (ON COMM)
My laser bank is offline.
OTHER VOICES (ON COMM)
Same here, sir.
SHIP'S CAPTAIN (ON COMM)
We are an unarmed trade vessel
under Imperial protection. One
hyperspace message and the 3rd
Imperial fleet will be here post
haste.
The lead starfighter (Lobo's) faces the rear and fires
through the wedge at Ben's ship disabling his laser canon.
LOBO (O.C.)
(on comm)
Guess my laser is back on line.
Captain Benjamin Kay Leva, I'm
relieving you of duty for gross
negligence and causing the death of
a fellow officer. Ben's ship turns
away from the gate.
LOBO (O.C.) (CONT'D)
(on comm)
If you follow me back to base we
will see what a military tribunal
has to say about your actions here
today.
Ben's ship accelerates and goes to warp before anyone can
follow.
LOBO (O.C.) (CONT'D)

INT. FENRUS SPACEDOCKS - NIGHT
in an office Charlie, Julie and Selmar drink coffee. Outside
the windows work on spaceships goes on amid sparks and loud
THUDS and CLANKS.
JULIE
(loudly)
One plan thwarted and some more
spacefleet officers on our side.
CHARLIE TWOCLOUDS
Muller will just try again. But
today went well.--
This coffee is great!
SELMAR
Old family recipe. You heading back
to Kelios?
JULIE
Ya, On the way back Charles...
Charlie winces.
JULIE (CONT'D)

INT. GRAND ADMIRAL MULLER'S CABIN ON BOARD BATTLECRUISER -
DAY
Muller and Barney drink tea laced with milk from one of the
jugs Barney brought from Kelios.
BARNEY
Where's Tara, I look forward to
seeing her. She's a well trained
slut.
MULLER
I have her showing her replacement
a zorilla, around the ship. I have
made arrangements with my officers
to keep them both 'tied up' for
some time, so we can talk. Muller
pours some more milk in his tea.
BARNEY
...going to allow her to go home?
MULLER
She knows too much. Sumer has sent
an Imperial courier this time to
bring her home. Barney drinks some
more and pours some milk in his
cup.
BARNEY
Interfere with a courier and Geode
will be annexed and an offworld
governor appointed. Unless...
MULLER
Yes, go on please. Did you know you
have lovely eyes? How do you keep
so slim?
BARNEY
Gunthor, I love the tufts on your
ears and the way they twitch when
you listen hard. You're a lovely
man. They both look at the milk
jug, then at each other.
MULLER
The girls won't be back for
hours...
INT. KELIOS LOOKOUT STATION - DAY
In the kitchen area Julie eats breakfast while Charlie holds
a printout in front of her face.
JULIE
This doesn't make sense. Muller is
sending a letter of condolence to
Villa Nova on the tragic death of
her sister in a terrorist bombing
of an imperial courier ship...
CHARLIE TWOCLOUDS
It's dated tomorrow.
JULIE
Tara hasn't even left yet. She
emailed me last night. Her ship
leaves at noon today. They'll pick
her up along with the diplomatic
pouch from Muller's ship. Charlie
and Julie look puzzled. Julie, then
Charlie realize what this means.
Julie springs to her feet and
pounces on the computer.
JULIE (CONT'D)
We've got to warn Tara.
CHARLIE TWOCLOUDS
Yes, but how can we do it without
revealing the way we found out?
Julie thinks for a minute, makes a
decision and starts typing
JULIE
By sending a message on a open
channel so every furr in the system
gets it! "There's been a threat of
a terrorist bombing on the next
Empire ship to leave the system"
CHARLIE TWOCLOUDS
I better sign it. Furns aren't
allowed that kind of access.
EXT. LOOKOUT STATION - NIGHT
Outside the lookout station, Charlie checks his flight suit.
Julie, in her briefest outfit hugs him like she never wants
to let go.
JULIE
Official word is you're a hero who
saved many lives...
CHARLIE TWOCLOUDS
Unofficially I've been recalled
pending an investigation into my
ties with rebel factions. How else
could I get such information? Julie
and Charlie kiss like it's for the
very last time.
JULIE
I could come along... Rocket trails
are visible in the sky far to the
south.
CHARLIE TWOCLOUDS
See my escort? I'll bet they have
orders to terminate me enroute.
JULIE
You're only saying that to make me
stay.
CHARLIE TWOCLOUDS
I'm saying that because it's true.
Right now you belong here, fighting
the good fight. If I took you along
we'd regret it. Charlie walks
towards the landing pad. Julie
follows.
JULIE
What about us? You're what keeps me
going. Keeps me sane.
CHARLIE TWOCLOUDS
We both have a job to do. Where I'm
going you can't follow. What you
have to do I can't be any part of,
now. They reach the starfighter and
embrace as a dust storm kicks up
blotting out the rest of the
universe.
JULIE
I'm no good at being noble or brave
but it occurs to me that the
problems of two small furrs don't
amount to a hill of fava beans and
a nice Chianti in this crazy
system.
CHARLIE TWOCLOUDS
We'll be together again. Maybe not
today.
Maybe not tomorrow but someday and
for the rest of our lives...
Julie shouts over the noise as the engines reve up and
Charlie starts to close the canopy.
JULIE
Here's looking at you, kit.
EXT. - SPACE NEAR KELIOS.
6 larger space ships all firing lasers and energy bursts
pursue Charlie's starfighter. Charlie avoids all of them by
quick and unpredictable turns, finally escaping though a
narrow gap between meteors.
INT. LOOKOUT STATION - DAY
Julie types at the terminal singing a capella.
JULIE
"It's still the same old story A
fight for love and glory A case of
do or die
The world will always welcome lovers As time goes..."
A noise outside gets her attention. Looking out the window
she sees an all black starfighter settle on the landing pad.
She runs back to the computer, blanks the screen, removes her
clothes and hides her glasses.
JULIE
What now? There weren't any new
orders. Better expect the worst.
Goddess I hope it's not another
Barney.
EXT. LANDING PAD - MOMENTS LATER
Julie kneels on the tarmac. As Ben circles menacingly, he
produces a rope with a noose and puts Julie's head through
it.
Julie complies. Ben expertly ties her paws behind her back
and loops the rope around her ankles and back up behind her.
Julie's eye twitches.
BEN (CONT'D)
You will not be running off anytime
soon. I have been sent to question
you. Whether we use the noose as it
was designed will depend on your
answers.
INT. FENRUS SPACEDOCKS - CHIEF MECHANIC'S OFFICE- NIGHT
Dingy two room suite overlooking dockyards. Selmar and
Charlie talk quietly in the front office while SNORES emanate
from the back room.
SELMAR
My boss is out of it. Word is
Julie's dire. I know youse was her
lover not master. Your catgirl may
be tortured and then offed.
CHARLIE TWOCLOUDS
Not if I can help it.
SELMAR
You got lucky dodging patrols.
They've been doubled. You can't do
that again!
CHARLIE TWOCLOUDS
I can't just forget her. She's as
good as dead in Ben's hands. You're
my only hope, to get through I need
a hole in the patrols.
SELMAR
See this old iron mine on Ferris.
It goes through the whole asteroid
and the ore throws off any
tracking.
Selmar points at a map of near space on the wall and put her
finger on Ferris. A pin is sticking out and she pricks her
finger.
CHARLIE TWOCLOUDS
That might work. I thank you.
Charlie examines her hurt paw.
CHARLIE TWOCLOUDS (CONT'D)
Want me to kiss it and make it
better?
SELMAR
Yes "papa"
INT. FENRUS SPACEDOCKS - CHIEF MECHANIC'S OFFICE -
SIMULTANEOUS
In the other room Selmar's master a TAYRA (eira barbara)
watches through a monitor while a speaker near the door emits
SNORES.
TAYRA
Headquarters will want to hear
this.
INT. KELIOS LOOKOUT STATION - NEXT DAY
Julie is tied to a chair in the center of the room. Ben is at
the computer wearing headphones.
Ben moves Julie in front of the terminal and pulls a bag over
her head.
BEN
Listen to this. You will not be
looking.
SELMAR (V.O.)
Lover... your cat... may be
tortured and offed. Do that again!
CHARLIE TWOCLOUDS (V.O.)
Forget her. She's as good as
dead... You're my only ... hole.
I...want to kiss it.
SELMAR (V.O.)
Yes "papa"
BEN
Your Coyote has replaced you
already. If you tell me everything
I will let you be the one to
execute him.
JULIE
Master? I could never harm a
master. I'm happy if he's found
another furn to serve him.
JULIE (V.O.)

INT. SUMER TM - ARRIVAL GATES
The doors open and along with assorted furrs Tara, in an
oversized man-tailored shirt and still wearing a purple
collar looks around. She catches sight of Villa, Gianni and
Natalie in the crowd and the girls hug while Gianni pats
Tara's head.
EXT. KELIOS - DESERT - DAY
Near the lookout station Julie is staked out in the mid day
sun and Ben is turning over rocks with a crow bar.
Julie fidgets trying to get comfortable and keep the sun out
of her eyes. From off screen where Ben is, the CRUNCH and
RUSTLE of some things being caught can be heard.
BEN (O.S.)
Have you remembered anymore names?
JULIE
No master. My poor little brain
can't hold a lot of stuff you know.
You must be getting overheated out
here. Can I make you some lemonade?
Maybe a cold beer?
Ben glares at her. Julie closes her eyes to try to block out
the sun's glare and heat that's makes her head spin. A
momentary odd smile crosses her face.
INT. LOOKOUT STATION - KITCHEN - JULIE'S FANTASY -- DAY
Julie pulls a glass of brackish water out of the septic tank.
Drops in ice cubes and blows her nose in it.
She opens a packet of powder and pours it in, too. A tiny
mushroom cloud erupts from the glass.
Julie adds a tiny pink paper parasol and a straw.
EXT. KELIOS - DESERT
Julie hands the drink to Ben. Her face breaks out in a toothy
grin as he drinks it, keels over and spontaneously sprouts a
white lily from his chest.
The scene goes dark.
EXT. KELIOS - DESERT - BACK TO PRESENT - DAY
Ben stands over Julie's head, blocking the sun.
Julie's eyes blink open. She seems almost surprised to see
Ben standing there, then realizes.
BEN
Do not play the mindless sexcat
with me. I read your mail to Tara
and Selmar. Pilot Twoclouds new
squish will be rounded up with him.
They will probably be in bed
together when we catch them.
JULIE
Selmar knows less than I do and I
know nothing.
BEN
How did you know about the bomb on
Tara's ship?
JULIE
I didn't Master Charlie did.
BEN
Stay in the sun and think about
your next answers most carefully.
This may motivate you to be more
cooperative...
Ben dumps a pail full of nicklepedes on Julie and leaves. The
station door SLAMS
JULIE
You One-damned son of a female
chicken seducer. Yowch. I'll eat
your balls for breakfast someday.
Ouch damn. Get back here now and

The Station door opens and Julie falls silent. It closes.
JULIE (CONT'D)
...Afraid to come out here aren't

INT. KELIOS LOOKOUT STATION - NIGHT
In the computer hutch Julie is tied to a chair with one arm
free. The rope from the noose around her neck is slung over a
roof beam but loosely. Ben has the other end in his hand. On
screen is

BEN
...Go ahead.
Julie types in
HOSEBAG
And presses enter. The screen fills with file icons. Ben
pushes Julie to the side.
BEN
The files - Recipes, Dance moves,
bedroom tricks... Fah! The mails...
newsletters about food, dance and
erotic massage. By the thrice
damned devil bunnies, You are a
lying stinkhole.
Ben pulls on the rope and Julie's head goes taut and the
chair starts to lift off the floor as she gasps for breath.
She reaches up with her free hand but Ben slaps it down and
she starts to pass out. Ben calms down and lets up a little.
JULIE
Master? That made this slave all
hot and wet. Did it arouse you.
Maybe I could show you what I do
know...
BEN
(panting)
Aroused? The only thing that will
get me warm is your last breathe.
Ben begins to pull the rope tight again and Julie starts to
claw at the bonds on her other wrist. The computer BEEPS
loudly and on the screen.
ALERT! Incoming ship or ships. Presume Hostile. E. T. A. 4
Hours ALERT!
Ben releases the rope and runs outside with a laser rifle.
BEN (O.C.)
Four hours...
JULIE (V.O.)

EXT. SPACE - FERRIS ASTEROID - MOMENTS LATER
Two starfighters with vicious rat faces painted on the front,
hang in space above the mining asteroid.
RAT IN SHIP ONE (O.C.)

"Search and destroy with extreme
prejudice"

Voice from other ship is higher and squeaky

Doc turns off the comm and turns to the pilot (O.S.).
DOC LONG
Lay in a course for Kelios. Someone
is going to need medical attention.
INT. KELIOS LOOKOUT STATION - DAY
On the bed is Julie with her hands tied behind her back. Ben
dangles a piece of turkey jerky over her upturned mouth.
BEN
I know you have not been fed in
days. Give me one more name and I
will...
Ben lets the jerky touch her tongue and then withdraws it.
Julie stares at the receding food.
JULIE
Your Mother?
Ben punches her nose and her head snaps sideways.
BEN
I shot her long time past. Try
again.
JULIE
Roger Wilmont.
(V.O.)
No harm. He's known.
Ben breaks off a tiny piece of jerky and drops it in her
mouth.
BEN
True. But no help. Another?
JULIE
Well, there's my sis...
The Computer BEEPS Loudly. Ben goes to the keyboard types and
enters. Then comes back.
BEN
The time for this game is over.
Stand.
INT. GRAND ADMIRAL MULLER'S CABIN ON BOARD BATTLECRUISER
Barney is at the computer. Muller's on his bed and a skunk
girl (not Tara) kneels at his feet with drinks.
BARNEY
It says "No new information. Will
now terminate." Your pet psycho is
better at murder than gathering
intelligence.
MULLER
He could not break her? You could
not train her.
BARNEY
But I broke her.
MULLER
No, she bounced back quickly
enough. This cat is stronger than
most. Let her die...
EXT. KELIOS LOOKOUT STATION - DAY
Julie is standing on a chair with the rope from the noose
thrown over a rafter. The other end is tied tight making her
stand on her tiptoes. Ben has on hand on the chair and a
Laser rifle in the other.
BEN
I lied. Your former master is
coming to your rescue. Watch.
Three starfighters enter the atmosphere two chasing the one
in front.
The front starfighter loops around and takes out one pursuer,
but the second one gets off two shots before it's hit and all
three ships explode.
Back on the porch Ben puts the rifle down and places both
hands on the chair.
BEN (CONT'D)
That was him. Make peace with your
god.
JULIE
You're my god Master. Let this
piece...
BEN
Silence. It is ended--
Well, maybe while your corpse is
still warm.
Ben runs his hand up the inside of her leg, then pulls the
chair away and steps back. Julie dangles and chokes. Two
SHOTS RING out from the desert. One neatly severs the rope
and the other hits Ben in the shoulder. Julie falls and Ben
slumps against a post.
Out of the desert haze Charlie in a desert camouflage
jumpsuit walks towards the station, an old style rifle with
beads and feathers in his paws.
Julie kneels on the porch dazed. Ben puts his hand under the
back of his coat and faces the approaching Charlie.
CHARLIE TWOCLOUDS
Leva put your hands where I can see
them.
Ben shakes the elbow of the arm under his coat limply.
BEN
I fear this one is not working at
the moment.
Julie snaps out of her stupor when she sees Ben ease a phase
pistol out of the back of his coat.
JULIE
Charlie look out...
Ben Shoots the rifle out of Charlie's hands and shoots him in
the leg.
BEN
I would prefer to kill you but
maybe if you came all this far, the
girl means something? I will allow
her life if you tell me...
JULIE
Put a lid on it, necrophile.
Julie frees her hands picks up the laser rifle and points it
at Ben.
BEN
Oh the cat has claws. I do not
think you can harm a master. You
are too well-trained.
Julie aims the laser rifle, starts to pull the trigger and
freezes. Her finger will not move. She twirls the gun around
and throws it.
Charlie dives for his rifle and fires point blank at Ben's
head as the laser rifle hits him out of the way. Charlie's
second shot gets Ben in the chest and he crumples.
Julie runs out to embrace Charlie.
CHARLIE TWOCLOUDS
Doc Long brought me. The
starfighter was a decoy.
JULIE
Who?
CHARLIE TWOCLOUDS
Lobo. It was payback for Rene.
